Alena Chaban, Esq.
Founder and Partner
Alena Chaban is one of the founding partners of Chaban Law Group. As an exclusive family law attorney, Alena has devoted her legal career to navigating the intricate and emotional terrain of family disputes. With a compassionate approach and unwavering commitment, she provides invaluable guidance to clients in their most challenging times. Her goal is not only to achieve favorable outcomes but also to prioritize the well-being and best interests of the families involved.
As a mother of two children herself, Alena understands the emotional toll that family conflicts can take. As such, she offers not just legal counsel but also a supportive and compassionate environment. Clients find comfort in her ability to listen attentively, provide clear explanations, and offer solutions that align with their goals.
Alena is a true Floridian, being born and raised in Florida. She received her bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida. She then earned her juris doctorate degree from Barry University School of Law. At Barry, she earned seven book awards and was a member of the moot court team. Alena also served as a research assistant and as the editor-in-chief of Barry Law Review. She was inducted into the National Order of Scribes, an honorary society for legal writing and graduated magna cum laude in the top five percent of her class. Alena continues to augment her legal expertise through ongoing education and staying abreast of the latest developments in family law.

Matthew Chaban, Esq.
Founder and Partner
Matthew Chaban is one of the founding partners of Chaban Law Group.
Attorney Matthew Chaban is a dedicated advocate and brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to every case. With a deep-rooted commitment to resolving disputes amicably and protecting the best interests of clients, Matthew has established a reputation for excellence in the legal community.
Matthew earned a Juris Doctorate from Barry University Law School and quickly gravitated towards the intricate landscape of Family Law. With years of focused practice in this field, he has navigated a wide array of cases, including divorce, child custody, alimony, adoption, and domestic violence matters.
Understanding the emotional complexity of family-related issues, Matthew approaches each case with empathy and sensitivity. He prioritizes open communication, ensuring clients feel heard and supported throughout the legal process. By providing clear guidance and realistic expectations, he empowers clients to make informed decisions for themselves and their family. Being of Cuban descent, Matthew is fluent in both English and Spanish, ensuring seamless communication with a diverse clientele.
Beyond his legal practice, Matthew is married to his wife, Alena, and is a dedicated father of two. He has his son, Julian, and daughter, Vivian.

Autumn Lester
Associate Attorney
Autumn is a family law attorney dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most difficult transitions with clarity, compassion, and strong advocacy. Her practice focuses on all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody and timesharing, child support, paternity, and related matters.
Before focusing her practice on family law, Autumn worked at a large civil litigation firm where she gained extensive client advocacy and case management experience. This background provides her with a strong litigation foundation and strategic perspective that benefits clients both inside and outside of the courtroom.
In addition to traditional litigation, Autumn is committed to helping families resolve disputes in constructive and cost-effective ways. She is trained and certified in both collaborative family law and mediation, allowing her to guide clients toward solutions that prioritize long-term stability and minimize unnecessary conflict whenever possible. Autumn also serves as a Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children in legal proceedings by conducting investigations and providing recommendations to the court regarding their care and well-being.
Autumn earned her Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law and her Bachelor's in Conflict Resolution and Legal Studies from Brenau University. During her education, she developed a strong interest in advocacy and dispute resolution as part of Brenau's Intercollegiate Mediation Team and Barry's Collaborative Family Law Clinic, both of which continue to shape her approach to family law today.
Known for her thoughtful approach and strong attention to detail, Autumn works closely with her clients to understand their goals and develop practical strategies to protect the interests of the client and their families.

Paola Andrea Diaz
Paralegal
Paola is a paralegal with the firm. She is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Paola was born and raised for most of her life in Colombia. She then relocated to Florida in 2012.
In 2013, Paola attended Valencia College where she graduated with an associate's degree in Theater and Dramatic Arts. She is working on her bachelor's degree in legal studies at UCF and will later attend law school and become an attorney one day. She has worked in the legal field for 6 years, and all her legal expertise is based on Florida's state laws and procedures.
In her free time, Paola loves being outdoors and working out. Most of all, she loves spending quality time with her cats, Mino and Hero, as well as her family and close friends. You can also find her dancing somewhere in the Florida area. Her deep compassion for others allows her to leave a lasting impression with her work family, clients and clients to come. She has a vibrant personality and is always looking forward to taking on the next challenge.
Education: Valencia College, Orlando, Florida, A.A. in Theater and Dramatic Arts. Florida Notary – commission expires 2029.

Ashley Olivo
Paralegal
Ashley is one of the firm's lead bi-lingual paralegals. Diligent, hardworking and communicative, she has over three years of dedicated work experience in Family Law with Chaban Law Group.
Ashley is a dedicated family law paralegal with over five years of experience supporting clients through complex and often sensitive legal matters. She earned her degree in Legal Studies from University of Central Florida, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and procedure.
Ashley began her career in an administrative role and quickly advanced within the legal field through initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. Ashley now plays an integral role in case management, client communication, and the preparation of legal documents.
With extensive experience in family law matters, including divorces, paternity actions, child support, and modifications, Ashley is particularly passionate about drafting motions and pleadings that clearly and effectively reflect the client's position. She takes pride in producing precise, well-structured work that supports case strategy and advocacy.
Ashley is committed to continued growth in the legal profession and she strives to provide meaningful support to both attorneys and clients throughout every stage of the legal process.
